Commodity coffee is marketed and enjoyed all over the globe. Maybe as a result of a growth in consumption in developing countries, coffee's popularity is on the rise as well. Today, countries throughout the globe have agreed to work together to cut carbon emissions and hold global warming in check. The effects of climate change will persist even if these comprehensive measures are effective, and they will unfairly target those with the weakest means and ability to cope with them. Climate change is a fact of life, and we at Local Coffee are committed to supporting efforts to mitigate its effects. The practice of becoming used to a new or different environment and the consequences of such adaptation.

Those of us who are concerned about climate-related threats have a number of alternatives at our disposal. We could, for example, utilize deliberate adaptive strategies to lessen risk by developing more climatically robust agricultural types or by developing flooding resilient facilities. Another alternative is to increase the community's resiliency by enhancing overall socio-economic prosperity.
